New to FIRST?

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) started in 1992, founded by Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers. It has evolved into four levels of play to promote Science, Technology, Engineering,  and Match (STEM) in all grade levels:

FIRST LEGO League Jr is for K-4
FIRST LEGO League is for 4-8
FIRST Tech Challenge is for 7-12
FIRST Robotics Competition is for 9-12

Competitions are FREE to attend and a great way to inspire your children to get into STEM. Our competition details are listed below. Please feel free to contact us if you want any more information! Checking out our smugmug account can also be a great way to see what kinds of things we do: pearadox5414.smugmug.com

Pearadox is a FIRST Robotics Competition team located in Pearland, TX and is comprised of students from all three high schools in Pearland ISD. The team's rookie year was in 2015, and has been growing in technical and non-technical skills every year. Each year, we face a new game challenge that is released the first non-holiday Saturday of January and by mid-march, we are competing, along with other teams all across the world, to qualify for the world championships held in late April.

This year, we are competing in the Belton competition March 9-12 (https://www.thebluealliance.com/event/2023txbel) and the Houston-Aldine competition March 23-25 (www.thebluealliance.com/event/2023txhou).

We would compete in the State Championships in Houston April 5-8 (https://www.thebluealliance.com/event/2023txcmp1) if qualified, and the World Championships right here in Houston at the George R Brown Convention Center from April 19-22 (www.thebluealliance.com/event/2023cmptx)
